Geumsan-gun, which pushed for a name change by adding ‘Geumsan’ to the Daejeon-Tongyeong Expressway Ginseng Land Rest Area, is now attracting attention by installing an LED promotional board on the exterior wall of the specialty product store.

According to Geumsan-gun, a transparent LED promotional board was installed at the end of last year at the Geumsan Ginseng Land Rest Area on the

Daejeon-Tongyeong Expressway and at the ‘Ginseng House’, a specialty product sales area.

Geumsan-gun is the first local government to install large promotional boards at highway rest areas.

Attaching a transparent LED film to the inside of the glass windows of the existing building without

damaging it. At the promotional board, which uses the outer wall as a large screen, you can see Geumsan's major tourist attractions, promotional videos for special products such as ginseng and perilla leaf, and Geumsan ginseng commercials. The county began operating the LED promotional boards in February after a trial run in January. Due to good video visibility even during the day, operating hours are from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM,

and we plan to change the operating hours

depending on the season.

Installation of LED promotional boards to turn the specialty product sales area of a rest area with a large floating population into a landmark symbolizing Geumsan. It will be reborn as a famous photo spot for SNS users that can effectively promote Geumsan.
